Neighbourhoods’ Regatta in Noli

The event celebrates the birth of Noli’s Maritime Republic and the independence from Genoa.
The small fishing boats of the four neighbourhoods, Burgu, Ciassa, Maina and Purtellu, compete to win in the gulf.
The historical regatta of the neighbourhoods is the result of an ancient tradition involving the inhabitants of the village.
The route is just over a kilometre and a half, with 400-meter fractions and three buoy rides, while the starting position is drawn on the day of the competition, at the presence of the four helmsmen.
