Madonnetta Swim Race

On Sunday, May 14, Albissola Marina hosts the third edition of the Madonnetta Swim Race, a sporting event featuring three competitions: Miglio della Madonnetta (Holy Maty’s Mile), Doppio Nodo (Double Knot) and Swim & Run.
At 10 o’clock, the Miglio della Madonna begins and consists of swimming for 1 mile (1852 m) on the classic and not to be missed path of Madonnetta.
At 11, athletes are on the starting line for the Double Knot: 3500 m swimming path, “doubling” the Madonnetta’s one; After the Double Knot, at 13, a convivial moment … the Pasta Party!
Finally, at 15 o’clock the start of the Swim & Run (a 1 km long swimming course in the Albissola Gulf, plus 5 km of running along the Aurelia Street) will close the competitions, followed by the prize awards at 6pm.
The event is organized by Madsports ASD, an amateur sports association, created to engage all sports lovers in possible challenges.
